As a young girl I always loved to draw and with the encouragement of my Mother and constant provision of white paper, I did! Little did I know what adventure lay ahead of me: I accepted Jesus around twelve years old, began to learn about God, the Greatest artist, as well as myself and knew that one day, I wanted to be an artist, especially to write and illustrate Children’s books. I went to an Arts Magnet High School, then was accepted into Ringling School of Art and Design. I published my thesis after graduation, a story inspired by my autistic brother. I am currently working as a home nurse, a member of SCBWI (Society of Children’s Writer’s and Illustrators), volunteer Art teacher and Youth Group Assistant in sunny Sarasota, Fl.
